Bribirski Prisnats Appetizers recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of ham.
¼ lb of bacon, cubed.
1 ½ lb of Jack cheese, cubed.
3 bunches of green onions, cut into small pieces.
12 medium eggs.
1 cake of yeast.
½ cup of butter.
¼ cup of warm water.
Salt.
Pepper.
Flour.
Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve the yeast in warm water with 1 tablespoon of flour; then stir and set aside to rise.
Fry the cubed bacon in butter for 2 minutes. Add the ham and the green onions; then set aside and allow to cool.
Beat the eggs and add enough flour to make a soft batter.
Add the raised yeast and mix.
Add the ham-bacon-onion mixture and mix.
Add the cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a large bowl to rise for about 3 hours.
Grease and flour pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour 30 minutes or until top is nice and brown.
